The primary responsibility of the Tender Clerk is to ensure that daily responsibilities of the Tenders Department are maintained at the highest level and ability to effectively function within a pressurised and fast paced environment.

The Tender Clerk will report to the Manager.

– Preparation of costings, quotes and proposals for tenders

– Identify and obtain all necessary documentation for tenders

– Compilation of tender document

– Follow up on delivery and adjudication of tenders

– Prepare feedback report for Manager

 

Requirements:

– 2 years working experience in a similar role

– Drivers license

– Aptitude for accurately working with numbers and figures

– Attention to detail

– Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

– Excellent computer, written and verbal communication skills

– Ability to work as part of a team and individually

– Ability to apply initiative and judgement

– Strong commitment to service and quality standards as well as client satisfaction

– Ability to communicate with people at all levels
